The legendary 87-year-old actor is seen in a festive picture alongside his daughter Lorraine Nicholson.
A unique new photo of Jack Nicholson has been shared on social media. The 87-year-old actor's daughter, Lorraine, published the picture (below) among a collection of holiday images.
The picture features Lorraine hugging the three-time Oscar winner in what looks like a library or office, with some of the actor's awards displayed on a shelf behind him. She wrote in the post, "The giving season." This is said to be the first public photo of the three-time Oscar winner in almost two years.
The star of "The Shining" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was once a frequent attendee at L.A. Lakers games from courtside and was last seen in public at a playoff game in 2023, where he was with his son, Jim Nicholson.
Nicholson resides in a Beverly Hills home on Mulholland Drive that spans 3,303 square feet, which he bought from Marlon Brando in 2005. In recent years, there have been unconfirmed accounts from individuals who were once close to him expressing worry that he might be turning into a recluse, similar to Brando in his later years.
The new photograph indicates that his family remains an important part of his life. Nicholson's most recent film was the romantic comedy released in 2010, "How Do You Know", which featured Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and Owen Wilson.
